Suitable surfaces for self-adhesive wallpaper

Self-adhesive wallpaper sticks best to smooth, even surfaces. These are the suitable substrates:

  • Painted walls
Preferably painted evenly in one color, such as white. Make sure the paint is fully cured and the wall is clean, dust- and grease-free.

  • Smooth concrete
Without texture or relief. Rough or grainy concrete walls are less suitable.

  • Plastic surfaces
Such as cabinet doors with a smooth laminated layer.

  • Glass and mirrors
Perfect for glass doors, windows, or mirror surfaces.

  • Wooden panels
Smoothly sanded, clean, and dry. Avoid wood with deep grain or texture.

  • Metal surfaces
Such as metal doors or cabinets, as long as they are grease-free.

  • Painted MDF or furniture boards
Ensure the paint layer is smooth and fully cured.
