Help, I see seams in my non-woven wallpaper! What can I do?

Our wallpaper is of high quality and does not shrink, provided it is applied correctly. Below you will find some causes that can cause seams or the wallpaper not to adhere properly.

Common causes of seams:

  • Use of unsuitable glue;
  • Presence of Latex wall paint on the wall;
  • Textured paint on the wall;
  • Multiple layers of paint on the wall;
  • Too low or too high temperature during application (the ideal temperature is between 18-24 degrees Celsius);
  • No primer was used;
  • Presence of old layers of wallpaper.

If the seams already look like they are coming loose during installation, carefully remove the strip and re-apply it, without pulling. When the wallpaper dries, it can straighten itself, which can also create seams.

Once the wallpaper has dried completely, unfortunately there is little that can be done. Because we were not present during the application and were unable to assess the condition of the wall ourselves, we cannot provide a guarantee in this case. Of course, we are happy to assist you and provide advice where possible.
