As soon as your wallpaper arrives, first check whether it fully meets your expectations. We then recommend letting the wallpaper acclimatise for 24 hours in the room where it will be applied. This can simply be done in the box in which it was delivered. This helps minimise the risk of visible seams caused by shrinkage. Make sure the room temperature stays between 18 and 25 degrees and keep windows and doors closed during installation to avoid temperature fluctuations. During these 24 hours, the wallpaper does not need to be fully unrolled or unfolded and can remain in the box.
Note: If you have underfloor heating, place the wallpaper on an elevated surface so it doesn’t rest directly on the floor.
